Mr. Oei Hong Bie’s six decades of experience in the natural rubber market distinguishes our Tong Teik office as our premier trading office. Mr. Oei has personally trained many of the best people in the industry. Our trading team is exceedingly well trained to spot both the opportunities and possible pitfalls in the marketplace, even in very difficult markets.

Our Singapore office excels at futures trading in both Singapore and Tokyo and takes the lead in Southeast Asian purchasing. They spend the time and resources necessary to stay on top of the shifting producer’s landscape in South East Asia. Tong Teik liaises with the major tire companies in Singapore and is breaking into the very important Chinese & Indian markets.

As Chinese & Indian consumption rises, the origination of natural rubber from other parts of the world becomes vital to European & North American consumers. Our years of experience in West Africa ensure our ability to find new sources and keep on top of traditional African producers of natural rubber.
